Fun and Colorful 13th Birthday Cake!

This was a quick design I put together for a new client and sent over the phone for approval.  But the outcome was no quick execution!  This cake was flawless and the details were just perfect.  I truly loved this cake and so did my client and the birthday girl!  Chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling.

Western Themed Baby Shower Cake

I designed this cake for a western themed baby shower.  It came out just too adorable!  And the little cowboy baby was so cute!!!   Red Velvet Cake!

Tasting a New Flavor!

At the request of a special bride, we baked and tested an amazing banana chocolate chip cake filled with banana cream and topped with chocolate ganache, creamy chocolate buttercream and toasted walnuts.  It was amazing, and they all loved it!  How could they not?!  Totally baked from scratch, with creamy butter, real bananas, just goodness in every bite!

Engagement Cake

I truly LOVED this cake!!!  The original design and colors came from a cake my client found on line. But of course, I made my own version of it to make it super special.  Our client provided the super adorable bride and groom riding a bike and everything else is edible, inluding the bow and flowers.  The bride had a special request and that was for us to make our version of the cake she loves the most; TooJay's Banana Cake.  Not only did we pleased her with her special request, but we rocked the flavors.  A chocolate chip banana cake, filled with alternating layers of banana cream, chocolate buttercream with toasted walnuts and a thin layer of ganache.  It was the BOMB!!! 

Channel Handbag Cake

This is another version of a Channel handbag I had previously made.  All the accesories are made out of sugar.  How sweet is that!  This was a delicious chocolate cake filled with raspberry buttercream, made for a repeat client who surprised her niece on her 21st birthday.  What a special Auntie!



FA18 Hornet Cake

This was Anthony's 18th Birthday Cake.   Anthony plans on becoming a pilot and his sweet mom surprised him with this super cool cake! 

Minnie Themed Birthday Cake

This is such a popular and fun cake!  I have done a few of these with variations to make them unique for my clients and will be doing a couple more in the next two months!  Hurray!  This version was special for Gracilyn's First Birthday.  She had  a wonderful celebration with family and friends and everyone loved the cake!  Of course, they ate it, but like most of our clients, they had a hard time cutting it because it was soooo pretty!!!!  Thank you for allowing us to be part of your special first birthday celebration!!!!

Princess Birthday Cake

Happy 4th Birthday Eliana!  It was my joy and pleasure to make your special cake!  I know you loved it!  This princess themed cake was frosted in buttercream with fondant details and a gumpaste tiara.  Perfect cake for a little princess!!!  Moist almond cake filled with our light and creamy vanilla buttercream! YUMMY! 

JAWS THEMED BIRTHDAY CAKE

Today, I made a special young boy very happy!  I just love what I do, and this is by far the most rewarding aspect of my job.  Delivering a cake and watching the reactions!  Vincent, or Junior as most call him, turned 13 years old today.  He absolutely loves sharks and his daddy wanted to surprise him with an awesome cake!  He celebrated his birhtday with friends at Super Play in St. Lucie West.  He loved his cake and cupcakes which were also a surprise on my behalf.  The cake was a moist vanilla cake filled with cookies and cream and the cupcakes were chocolate with creamy vanilla buttercream.  I hope you like it as much as he did!

Little Moir's Food Shack 10 Year Anniversary Cake

We were honored to make this amazing cake for Michael and Vivian who celebrated with their awesome employees, friends and family this past Sunday, the 10 Year Anniversary of Little Moir's Food Shack. There were so many little details that it was insane! It truly captured the essence of this unique restaurant.

Cake flavors were Vanilla Rum/Passion Fruit, Cocunut Cake/Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Buttercream, Lemon Cake/Raspberry and Almond/Hazelnut.

Patron Birthday Cake

Very Happy Out of State Client!

I must say that it is quite often that I get phone calls with inquiries from potential clients that want to order cakes to surprise loved ones.  They can't be here to celebrate with them, but they have trusted us to make and deliver a special cake on their behalf.  I love these requests, because I love surprises, and most of the time, the person having the birthday is not expecting to have a beautiful and tasty cake delivered at their door!  We recently made a cake for one of these clients and this is what he had to say:

I just wanted to thank you for the great job you did on my mother’s birthday cake. The cake was beautiful and my mother really enjoyed it! It really brightened her day and made the event special for her. I was originally worried that it would be too large and we would have too much left-over. But, the cake was so good, she had no problem finding “friends” at dinner to help her finish it off in one go.
