I can't believe it's been 3 months since my last post...I've totally neglected my blog! Oh well, here is a cake that I think is pretty cool and unique. I hand painted The Incredible Hulk on to this fondant covered cake to resemble the cover of a comic book. I used edible gel colors and painted it freehand...and to God be the glory!

This is a cake I made some time ago, but loved how it turned out. I made it for the birthday celebration of twins and their older brother. So each tier reflects something unique about each one of them. All the decorations were hand made.
A light variation of a previous design I made for my son. This time for a friend's little boy turning one. He, like many of us, loves Spongybob! The bottom tier was a moist vanilla cake filled with vanilla buttercream and the top tier was a Bailey's flavored cake filled with chocolate buttercream and chocolate chips. Laurys told me that all the guests were "locos" which means crazy with the cake and that it was delicious too!

This beautiful birthday cake with a train theme was created for Alexander's 2nd birthday. He loves trains and his mom fell in love with this cake design. The original design came from 4GoodnessCake, and I added a few details of my own as well as the cake topper and figurine. Everything is edible including the train. This was a moist vanilla cake. The bottom tier was filled with alternating layers of cream cheese buttercream and strawberries. The top tier was filled with French Pastry Cream. 30 Servings.

SpongeBob Square Pants! This was Jeremy's Birthday cake. My 3 year old son who is crazy about SpongeBob. Who doesn't love SpongeBob? I do....He is so funny and just the cuttest thing I've seen! I designed this cake just for him and when I was making it he told me "it's going to be beautiful, right Mom?". He is so precious, he loved it and so did all of our party guests. It was a vanilla cake filled with alternating layers of vanilla and raspberry buttercream (fresh raspberries also added to the buttercream). The top was also a vanilla cake filled with alternating layers of cream cheese buttercream, strawberries and chocolate ganache. The SpongeBob Bouncer was awesome and the kids had a blast. We actually celebrated Jeremy's, Dad's and Uncle David's Birthday that day.

I made this cake for Dawn's Baby Shower. The cake matched the party decor and it was designed just for her. This underwater theme baby shower cake is totally edible. The baby is made out of fondant. It was a moist vanilla cake filled with vanilla buttercream. Serves 40.
This was a little cake made to surprise Veronica's Brother and Sister in Law in their 2 year wedding anniversry. They love Shamu so I decided to incorporate the two kissing whales. Isn't it adorable! This was a 6" vanilla butter cake filled with fresh strawberry puree and vanilla buttercream.

I created this cake for Jonathan's Birthday. He loves fishing and wanted a very special cake for his birthday party. I love the outcome of this cake, especially the bold colors on the bottom tier and the little fish jumping out of the water. I can still picture Jonathan's big smile when he picked up his cake. This was a moist vanilla rum cake filled with vanilla buttercream.

I designed this cake for the reception of Sadhana's Kuchipudi. Sadhana Chalasani, age 14, has been traveling to India every summer since 1999 to learn the art of Kuchipudi Indian Classical Dancing. This past Saturday, August 9, 2008 she performed at the McAlpin Fine Arts Center, Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, FL, in front of over 200 guests.
Congratulations Sadhana, you did a beautiful job!
