HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE AND LILLY!

Designed this cake for twin sisters Kate and Lilly who celebrated their birthday at the Childens' Museum of the Treasure Coast.  The theme of the party was dolphins, so I designed this underwater themed cake for their special day.  This was a moist vanilla cake frosted in buttercream and decorated with fondant and gumpaste accents.  I just loved how this cake turned out and was very happy to know that everyone else loved the cake too!

BACKYARDIGANS BIRTHDAY CAKE

Made this cake last week and have to say this is my interpretation of a design the client sent me.  Not sure who originally created this design, but it is adorable.  These little fellows are so cute!
Vanilla rum cake filled with strawberry buttercream.  Client sent me an email and said this was the best cake they had ever had!  OMG, that is awesome!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBBIE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG!

I designed this cake for Greg's special 48th birthday celebration.  His wife wanted to incorporate some of the most memorable things he likes or enjoys doing.  He is of course a big fan of the Miami Dolphins, loves playing golf and fishing, likes Jimmy Buffet and Barenaked Ladies, and loves his job at Seacoast National Bank. Oh yeah, and enjoys drinking Michelob Ultra!  This was my Almond Joy cake; a coconut cake filled with almond buttercream,  a thin layer of chocolate ganache and toasted almonds.

BLUE CRAB ENGAGEMENT CAKE

One of my favorite cakes this week!  Unusual but so unique and, of course, like many of my cakes, it tells a story.  I just love cakes that have a story behind them and that are so unique for the special celebration.  This cake was an engagement cake and made to honor the grooms heritage.   The boat knot reflects the fact they will soon tie the knot!  This was a moist and fragrant vanilla rum cake filled with alternating layers of strawberry buttercream and vanilla buttercream.  Crabs handcrafted using sugar paste.

A very popular design for anniversary celebrations.  I created this vanilla/vanilla cake for Shellie's parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary, held at The Shrimp House in Jensen Beach.

JAGERMEISTER LIQUOR BIRTHDAY CAKE

Kyle was very surprised and happy with this cake, which was a surprise for him.  This was a chocolate cake filled with chocolate gananche and chocolate buttercram.

PEA IN A POD BABY SHOWER CAKE

I can't get over how cute this baby was!  I wanted to keep him so bad!  I designed this cake to match the baby shower invitation.  This was a moist vanilla cake filled with strawberry buttercream.

CUTE AND BRIGHT BIRTHDAY CAKE

Another buttercream cake with bright colors and fun polk-a-dots and flowers.  The bow is also edible and airbrushed to add dimension.  This was a flavorful vanilla rum cake filled with alternating layers of raspberry and passion fruit buttercream.  Laurel was very happy with it and said she could not get over how good the passion fruit buttercream is!  Looking forward to making your wedding cake Laurel!

PRINCESS BIRTHDAY CAKE

A Disney Princess themed cake for a special girl.  Happy Birthday Baylie!  I hope you had a wonderful birthday celebration.  Your mommy already told me that the cake was amazing and that everyone enjoyed it!  I'm so happy to hear that, I made it with love and confident that it was very yummy.  Vanilla cake filled with raspberry preserves and raspberry buttercream.  Cake also covered in buttercream with fondant and gumpaste accents.  The princesses were provided by mom.

1ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION CAKE

This is one of the cuttest monkeys I've made.  I designed this cake for a 1st birthday celebration and used the party decor as inspiration.  The monkey is totally edible and handcrafted and can be saved as a keepsake too!

TEXAS COWBOYS BABY SHOWER CAKE

Designed this cake with some ideas that my client sent me.  They celebrated the baby shower this weekend and the theme was Texas Cowboys.  Everyone was dressed for the occasion and it looked like it was going to be a super fun baby shower celebration.  You can see what Crystal had to say about the cake under "Sweet Notes'.  This was a vanilla cake filled with vanilla buttercream and the baby blocks were chocolate cake filled with vanilla buttercream.
