Lime Green and Gold Birthday Cake

I designed this cake for Tara's Birthday party yesterday.  This was  a very last minute order, and let me tell you that I enjoyed making this bright and bold cake.  The only thing Pete said is that she liked lime green and gold!  Almond amaretto cake filled with vanilla and chocolate ganache.

And this was Pete's birthday cake, which we made a few days before.  He loved it so much that he called us  to get his wife a birthday cake to surprise her!  How sweet is that!
