Modern Black, White and Purple Wedding Cake

 

Designed this cake for Heidi's wedding at beautiful Ballantrae.  Love the different designs on each tier.  The black fondant applications are free hand.  I added drama and height using the silver separators covered in textured fondant and handpainted with silver luster dust.  The sugar orchids were painted to match the wedding flowers and décor.  This was a moist and tasty vanilla rum cake.
